4/25/08-- Vegas race recap with a huge field 19 cars in Pro street we were able to Qualify 10 with a 6.93. With weather conditions not very favorable head winds in excess of 15 mph this was starting out to be a rough weekend. Our first run we had a fuel regulating problem resulting in a early shut off, thinking we found the problem we made our second hit a 6.93 but at a cost of two pistons.Obviously not finding the only fuel problem we put two pistons in but the third round was called due to 40mph crosswind. Thanks to my crew we worked on the car to figure out the problem with the injectors, they seemed to be shutting almost off late in the run.Ready for the first round we faced Diedrich with his beautiful black PSi blown Chevy with him have the et advantage a 6.85 to my 6.93 i felt i needed to tree him and i went .02 red giving him the easy win and ending our weekend early. thanks again to my crew and sponsors Hughes transmission , Basko Motors , Procharger and S.J.Fowler GMAC Real Estate.
3/15/08-- Fontana California recap our first race of the season and it started with a bang with our combination of a small cu in big block 430 cube conventional dart 345 heads we made a couple of personal best for our team on our qualifying run we ran a best of 4.36et at 172 mph and backed it with a 4.37 shutting it off to a a coasting 6.84et but had a few issues that we could not correct with the parts we had so we were unable to make to first round. Thanks gain to all my sponsors Basko Race Motors, Procharger , Hughes transmission and S.J.Fowler Gmac real Estate.
11/3/2007 -- Our 1st official race, Vegas Super Streetcar Nationals! Going against the top racers in the country with the fastest ever qualifying field in pro street history, we held our own! With a brand new combo and only 1 previous full pass down the strip, our goal for the weekend was to finish or advanced ET license (Which we did !!!!!) and subsequently almost qualified falling just .09 short of making the qualifying field. There were a few minor setbacks however those are in the process of being remedied to get us up to speed. Dave W. at Procharger is supplying us with 2 new prochargers to make the boost necessary to run the number, Tony Cane at Huges Performance is also working on getting us a converter to improve our already great short time of 1.09. In short we are VERY happy with the outcome. Thanks to everyone for their help. I'd like to give special thanks to Jim, Ray and David of Basko Race Engines for completely rebuilding the motor on Thursday in Phoenix so that we could make it to the race in Vegas Friday morning. Thanks to my crew for all their long hours and hard work and my wife for putting up with it and feeding everyone! We are looking forward to the next race and breaking our personal best record!

Dave at PROCHARGER for all the support and the huge power making Procharger they supplied. As always thanks to S.J. Fowler GMAC for all the support you have given over the years. Also I would like to thank all my crew that gives me much needed help, without all of them I wouldn't even make it to the track John , Eric ,Rodger ,Jess and my dad. last but not least thanks to everyone that has been there for me through all of this!
