Bob Towne-------
I was born on 12/31/1970 in Chicago Heights IL. From as far back as I can remember, all I ever wanted to do is go fast. As a young boy I raced dirt bikes. I quickly moved up to 1/8 mile drag sleds on the snow and ice (this was way before they started racing them on the 1/4 mile drag strip). We raced with some of the best, winning several events against some well known racers.
After several years of the snowmobile racing and finally turning 16, I graduated to the real deal cars. My first car was a 1970 SS Chevelle BB, this was a every day driver, 12 second ride to and from school.
In 1990 I purchased my first real race car. She was a 1969 Camaro which I owned for 16 years. I bought it from the original owner it was made a super stocker in 1972 with a long race history at the famous US 30 drag strip. This car was know as BAD BLOOD a 11 sec SS back in the day .
After a lot of hard work on the chassis and motor and with lots of financial help from my Dad & Mom, my dad and I built my motor. A good friend of mine Pat Hampton did all the body work and paint. The car turned out beautiful taking 2nd in World of wheels Chicago and running some low eights at the track. Like most racers, I did the street race scene a while but that became way to dangerous so I moved it to the track . (Pictures of the 69' in the

S.J. FOWLER GMAC Real Estate and have been specializing in Commercial real estate and selling homes to all my fellow racers. I also joined the PSCA Racing Organization. I competed in Real Street for 3 yrs finishing 6th in points two years in a row and running a best of 815 @ 175 with 3455 lbs of all steel that was back halved 1972. I don’t feel we did too bad considering the record at the time was 8.04 @176. We definitely had the power to compete, but the car was just out dated . The power came from a BASKO RACING built 548, two stage NOS motor, which gave me more power than I could use.In 2002 I met my beautiful wife Crystal and our two beautiful children Shelby and Kristian. They give me much needed support putting up with my many late nights in the shop and way too much money spent on the HOBBY, HABBIT, LIFESTYLE, OBSESSION, MISTRESS,ADDICTION (what ever you want to call it). Kristian, being the next member to begin racing jrs next year and Shelby soon following it looks like the team will continue to grow and the money will continue to be spent.
Today I own a 2002 double frame rail 115 " wheel base Camaro with a 2400 HP, F3A
Procharged conventional headed big block on alcohol, which I will be racing the Pro Street class in both the PSCA and WCHRA. I am looking to both turn some heads and set some records along the way .For more information and Specs on the 2002 Camaro please visit our Car Specs Page.
